Vega de Valcarce

Hi there, I´m in a place called Vega de Valcarce, after walking 24 km today, cloudy weather, a bit cold but didn´t rain as predicted... I´m at the municipal albergue which is very basic! Should have stopped at ambasmestas, the pueblo just a few hundred meters behind, which had a good albergue it seems... but i wanted to come to the brazilian albergue, which in the end was closed when i arrived... it had a sign at the door saying they would open at 2.30pm... i arrived at 1.30pm and didn´t want to wait so i kept walking to the next albergue, the municipal one, which was 2km away... so now the other brazilians are probably there but i can´t make myself to go back 2kms to see them and explain... so no cards for me tonight :) on the other hand, have met three spanish women who invited me to watch the game with them (spain plays suiza at 4pm today)... by the way, brazil won 2x1 north korea last night, we watched it in cacabelos at a bar... me and the other 3 brazilian girls, it was fun... we had a pizza that we had to get at the restaurant up the road as the bar didn´t sell food!... vega de valcarce is ok, simple but nice, a couple of hostals, restaurants... flowers on the windows of the houses... tomorrow is the day i start to climb the cebreiro... the way up doesn´t worry me but the way down afterwards... ah forgot to say, the hospitaleiro is a canadian guy who´s also a homepath... i had a leg and feet massage with him, great... 10minutes for 5 euros... but in the end i think he gave me at least 1/2 hour! ... after the game he said he´s going to cook homemade soup for the pilgrims in the albergue... for free... that´s good, because it´s very cold tonight... that´s me for now, miss you all but still having fun... ciao, Val
